Organizational Development Services

ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERVICES:

501(c)(3) Internal Revenue Designation

Non-profit status is a federal law concept. Non-profit status may make an organization eligible for certain benefits, such as federal and state sales, property, and income tax exemptions.

Board Development

Creating the right board to govern an agency can be a challenging task. We assess board effectiveness/capacity, create recruitment strategies, policies and plans that help an agency identify individuals that have a vested interest in the success of the organization and work to execute its mission.

Organizational Assessment

Becoming a highly effective organization requires more than the right structure. High-performing nonprofits exhibit strengths across five areas—leadership, decision making and structure, people, work processes and systems, and culture. We help our clients identify their organizational strengths and weaknesses, and develop action plans to increase the ability of their organizations to maximize impact.

Public Relations and Communications

Public relations or communications is just as critical to the success of a nonprofit organization/business as any other business aspect. We will help you design a public relations plan that defines who your target market is, what is to be communicated to the community, what vehicles will be used to “tell your story”, and who will communicate your story.

Strategic Planning

A strategic plan is a management tool designed to guide the strategic initiatives of the organization. Strategic planning involves setting goals for an organization, reviewing its current situation to establish future vision, goals and direction and finding ways to meet these goals. We assess the effectiveness of the organization’s business activities in terms of capabilities and gaps while creating a customized plan that will guide its short and long-term success.

Training

Training is a learning process that involves the acquisition of knowledge, sharpening of skills, concepts, rules, or changing of attitudes and behaviors to enhance the performance of employees, board members, staff and so on. We will work with you to design a program that helps in increasing the knowledge and skills of your participants.
